It is exactly this challenge that the V Bunny, who lives in our courtyard, is trying to tackle this year. How he manages it can be seen in January by peeking out of your window at the right moment.

February is the month of love.

The topic of Valentine’s Day and friendship is everywhere, inevitably making you daydream about love. The question of how and who with you would like to spend this, the following and the year after the following year also occurs to the V Bunny. His preparations for a Valentine’s Day date and the results of said date can be seen if you silently take a peek outside when you’re near his nest.

March is a school holiday month for us.

And naturally, school holidays are just the time for children to go wild and have fun however they want to. All this, of course, to then spend another couple of months at school politely waiting for summer break. In March, the V Bunny’s litter also experiences what the families of many of our hotel guests experience. At a certain moment it becomes clear that children have their own thoughts and preferences. Like their human counterparts, the tiny offspring of the V Bunny’s family are not just calm little adults. Rather, they are playful fur balls, whose messing around can be witnessed in March when looking out of the hotel window.

May is Mother’s Day month.

This is the month where the roles of who takes care of whom are often reversed, as children try to give memorable presents to their mothers. June is the month of the midsummer bonfire.

Practical summer tasks, grand bonfires and staying up all night are also the primary topics for our V Bunnies during summer solstice. But as many remember from their childhoods, staying awake in the company of grown-ups during bright summer nights is definitely not the easiest challenge. How the little V Bunnies handle this can be seen when you visit our hotel.

July is the month of grand vacations.

If the weather favours us, all is well, but for some reason we are located in a place where the longest vacation month of the summer can be unexpectedly rainy instead of sunny. What kind of weather will the V Bunnies, having decided this time to go to the beach, experience and what it will lead to can be seen by visitors when looking out of the windows of our courtyard rooms.

For Estonians, August is undoubtedly a month of active open air events. 

This warm period right before summer ends includes many events taking place in Tartu and elsewhere in South Estonia, events that our V Bunny’s litter will certainly not want to miss. In addition, August is the ideal time for going sightseeing. It is neither too cold nor too hot. It is neither too dark nor too light. Everything is balanced. The biggest challenge is choosing the best activity. How our family of V Bunnies handles this can be seen soon enough.

September in Tartu is of course the month of wisdom.

Students, both younger and older, will start attending schools and the entire city will be breathing in the rhythm of students during the month of wisdom. During autumns, even our hotel will have new talented people starting their career paths while attending school. What are the cute V Bunnies up to at the same time? You can see that by looking outside through the curtains on dim September evenings.

All around the world, October is the month of Halloween.

Naturally, our family of V Bunnies also follow this tradition. But like everything else, they celebrate Halloween in a way only V Bunnies do. November is a real spa month.

Dark nights and cool weather inaugurate a period of rest for nature and provide both us and the V Bunnies with the sweet opportunity to take care of ourselves. We should warn you that after viewing them you might also feel the irresistible longing for a warm spa visit.

December is our favourite holiday month.

Waiting for Christmas, presents and preparing for New Year’s is also a tradition in our hotel. For this occasion, the V Bunnies have decided to make matters very easy for Father Christmas.
