The location is perfect, although we got a but confused and lost about the entrance from the parking lot & through the shopping mall at first, but got the hand of it very soon. The hotel is beautiful, staff super-super smiley and friendly. The rooms are spacious & feel very clean and luxurious (we stayed in the Deluxe room, the price difference wasn't that big). Slippers, enough towels & complimentary water bottles in the room, also bathrobes and a bag to take to the swimming & spa area. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in hotels - big selection of both warm foods, sandwich materials, coffee drinks & yogurts, granolas & even some sparkling wine! Would only wish it was until 11am, not 7-10 am. The rooms were very quiet.
As for the swimming & saunas area - LOVELY if you're travelling with kids. A big kiddie pool & a fun rubber duck race game for the small ones, my 2,5 year old spent most of the time there. And also - there is a big sandbox for kids in the relaxing area. Super good to go with small children, would definitely recommend, he had SO much fun. One big pool for bigger guests, 2-3 bubble baths, a lot of saunas & other amenities and a bar that wasn't too expensive are also there. But a warning: the floor os very slippery. It usually is a bit, but I've never had such a slippery floor in a spa swimming area before. My son fell (luckily missing a stone edge by a couple of inches, but slamming on his back really hard) and I almost fell twice, which is no fun, but as a heavily pregnant woman (:D), should be taken very seriously. They had "caution, slippery floor" signs absolutely everywhere, but I think they should do something about the tiles in the future. I saw many people slip and fall. So, TAKE SANDALS WITH YOU!
Will definitely visit again, one of the best spa experiences for sure.
Both people and services were at high level at our stay in V Spa Hotel. Nice receptionists. Great cleaning ladies (smiling, welcoming when meeting at the hallway, both days). Lovely room and comfortable beds, crib for the child was in very good condition. It was really nice to have a spa at the same level with the room, next to it a wonderful playland "Marakratt" for the child. Excellent breakfast (would only wish for some breakfast items also for the persons with milk-protein allergy to be available, but this is general issue in hotels in Estonia). We also were happy with the location within the shopping-centre :)
Tartu itself is a calm small town, offering nice walks and drinks by the river. V-Spaa is located in absolute center of the attractions - everything is just a short walk away. The spaa side offers a very good variaty of saunas and baths and shallw watered playgrounds for the small ones (if I'd have any, I'd deffinetly go there :)). The rooms are luxorious and super comfortable.
very comfortable stay, perfect location, reasonable price. Generally, I am very satisfy from your services. The conerence rooms also very comfortabele, well facilitated.I will recomend your hotel to mu friends.
Very good service, nice and clean rooms, two free botles of water in room on arrival and gift for child at reception.Very nice and clean bed.Good location and whery nice pool with bar and lot of saunas.
We booked VSpa for 24 hour stay in the Deluxe room. We requested a quiet room and early check in. Both requests were accommodated for which was nice. We also booked 2 * 60min Thai Massages with oils. Due to them only having 1 Thai masseuse, we had it 1 after another. It was very nice experience.
The only critique i have is that regular check in at 4pm is very late. Normally check-ins are 3pm, which gives fair amount of time to spend in a hotel and spa. Our first massage was booked at 11.45 as they didn't have evening appointments available. We were thinking that one of us could then wait in the spa, but as it turns out you would have to pay extra if you wanted to go to spa before 2pm. Luckily our room was ready early and one of us could wait in the room while the other one had a massage. Our Deluxe room was nice but there was no view from the window, it was close looking into other rooms so we kept curtains closed for privacy. Room was clean and bathroom with the glass wall to the bedroom was fun. Just remember to pull the curtain when using the toilet.
Spa was nice and opens until 10pm. They have a bar inside the spa. We stayed Friday night and was quite busy. Lots of nice saunas to try. Salt World costs extra and we didn't try that. When you get your spa access make sure that Sauna World is included in this.
They have a restaurant within the hotel. We only had breakfast there as we are Vegan and they didnt have enough choice for us for the price they were asking for a meal there, so w went to Vapiano instead which is right next door to it within the same building and it was amazing and very good value for money. Next morning the breakfast was nice. Hot and cold breakfast was lacking in vegan options, but they had procecco which was nice. VSpa should definitely cater more for vegans as well. Many small changes would instantly increase the options for vegans without compromising on quality of food for others as well. Overall it was a nice stay. The swimming pool area is also nice for chidren. We would like to bring our children there next. Thank you!
It was better than we hoped. We were very surprised to hear on check-in that our reservation included a romantic three-course dinner (which was lovely). We enjoyed the spa and different sauna rituals, although you could see that the spa needs a little touch-up here and there (peeling paint etc.) Our room was lovely and we truly enjoyed the three-course romantic dinner. The food was excellent. We absolutely recommend it.
We are extremely satisfied with everything. The service was so good throughout our 2 night stay starting from the reception and spa to the very polite and friendly service at the restaurant. We had a great big room with one of the biggest bathrooms I...More
